    Description

    Set of 2 matching vintage/antique cast iron Eastlake hinges with steeple tops. Estimate these rare hinges date to late 1800s!! Eastlake was a popular Victorian design style in the late 19th century and is characterized by a combination of naturalistic and geometric patterns. The hinges have an intricate ornate design pattern and remnants of old white paint which give them a beautiful shabby chic patina. Good overall condition with some surface rust. Incomplete as shown with both hinges missing one end steeple, and one hinge missing the pin. Each hinge measures 4 x 3 1/2” when wide open and as marked on back of each. See pics for more details.
